Islam and Honesty

Islam and Honesty
Honesty is one of the best qualities in human character. Honesty is one of the virtues of human honesty. Its necessity is immense in human life. Protecting integrity and achieving integrity is the best worship for a believer. It is the duty of every Muslim to be careful in harvesting honesty and faithfulness in life, because honesty and truthfulness are another characteristic of haunting Akhala.

Emphasizing on honesty and truthfulness and describing its virtues, Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said, ‘Truthfulness shows the way to virtue, and virtue leads to Paradise. People are established as truthful or truthful to the last Allah by following the truth. Falsehood shows the way to sin and sin leads to the fires of hell. People are established as liars in the sight of Allah by following lies.
( 'Bukhari.)

On the other hand, calling falsehood the source of all sins, he said, "In fact, falsehood is the mother of all sins." No one believes those who are liars and they do not get help in times of danger. Such is the case of one shepherd. In the forest where he used to occasionally shout that the tiger had come while grazing, he would giggle when the people around him went to help him. People would go back to seeing it. But on the day the true tiger came, no one came forward to help him when he heard his cry, but people thought he was lying, so the tiger attacked and killed him.

Those who are liars in social life are known as liars to everyone. Everyone hates them and stays away from them. On the other hand, all those who are truthful are respected. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was awarded the title of Al-Amin by his people for his truthfulness in his pre-prophetic life. Even after his prophethood, those in his society who did not believe in him also deposited their wealth with him. At the time of Hijrah, he entrusted Hazrat Ali (ra) to explain to the owners and Hazrat Ali (ra) returned those stored goods to the owners.

In fact, honesty and truthfulness are one of the characteristics of Hasan Akhla, which will have a combination of these qualities, all kinds of people in the society will worship him and he will get its reward from Allah in the Hereafter and will enter Paradise because of his truthfulness. May Allah Almighty grant us the tawfiq to remain steadfast on honesty and truthfulness.
