Parents in Islam
The honor and dignity of the parents is undoubtedly top of the earth. Every man owes his parents to his existence after the great creation. The task of the children is to perform the duties and responsibilities of the parents with all the commandments of Allah, the Allah Creator and Lord. Allah said, "Serve God, do not associate anything with Him, and treat your parents, relatives, orphans, the needy, the nearest neighbor, the distant neighbor, your spouse, the traveler, and your subordinate slaves, for Allah loves that person." No, that's arrogant,Neglected and arrogant. (Surah An-Nisa: 36)
There are so many descriptions of the rights of parents in the Qur'an and Hadith that it would be a huge book to describe them all. So some of the descriptions are mentioned so that we can understand how important the rights of parents are.
Al-Quran:
1. I have strongly instructed people to be kind to their parents...... (29: 7)
2. Say: Come, I will recite to you that which your Lord has forbidden to you. That is, do not associate anything with Allah, be kind to your parents, do not kill your children for the sake of poverty. . . (6: 151)
3. If your parents insist on associating with me that of which you have no knowledge; But you will not listen to them and coexist with them in the world. Whoever turns to me, will follow his path. Then to Me is your return, and I will inform you of what you used to do. (31:15)
4. And I have enjoined on man to be kind to his parents. His mother carried him in her womb after suffering. . (31:14)
5. And worship Allah, and do not associate anyone with Him. Treat your parents honestly and kindly, and also to your relatives, orphans, the needy, the neighbors, the helpless travelers, and your own slaves. Surely allah does not love the proud. (4:38)
Hadith:
1. The Prophet He said that the best thing to do is to keep in touch with the father's relatives (friends, relatives). Bukhari, Muslim
2. The Prophet He said, "Allah is pleased with the satisfaction of parents, and Allah is displeased with the displeasure of parents." -Tirmizi
