Rights of Children in Islam
Every person in every house on earth wishes to have children. As the presence of the child brings welfare, so does the beauty of the house. Allah Almighty has made human life balanced and attractive through child-satisfaction. In a house where the innocent baby does not have the scum, the beauty and beauty of the house is greatly faded. And to whom Allah has given children, a great responsibility has been placed upon them.
Breastfeeding:
One of the rights of a baby after birth is to breastfeed, to take care of him, to take necessary steps to keep him free from all kinds of diseases. In the Holy Qur'an, it has been said, "And mothers will breastfeed their children for two full years." (Sura al-Baqara)
Experts agree that breastfeeding is good for the health of both mother and baby. Breast milk is a good protection against any kind of infection, diarrhea and nausea. Helps to prevent other diseases including obesity in later life. And reduces the risk of breast and ovarian cancer for the mother.
Fixing beautiful names:
Names are the life and death companion of every human being. So a good semantic name must be used when naming a child. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the rights of the child over the father, one of which is to give him a beautiful name and to teach him manners. (Shuabul Iman)
Teaching Dwini Ilam: It is obligatory on all Muslims to teach Dwini Ilam. Therefore, the child must acquire at least as much religious knowledge as he needs for his daily worship. He has to be taught holiness, he has to be taught the Qur'an, he has to be taught the necessary matters. In order to develop a child well, he has to face various experiences, evaluate his talents, give him as much time as possible. Besides, it is the responsibility of the parents to gently warn him about various sins.
