Neighbor in Islam
Neighbor in Islam
People are social lives. From the beginning of creation, humans have been living in unity. When living in a society, there are certainly neighbors. Islam has specifically directed the relationship between neighbors to be cordial, sincere and compassionate. In the life of society, every human being must maintain harmony with his neighbor and be aware of their rights.Don't hurt the neighbor:
In order to build an orderly and peaceful society and to build a happy and prosperous life, it is necessary to treat the neighbors well. The one who is always busy with himself, who thinks of nothing but his own interests, the endangered and miserable condition of his neighbor, the heartfelt cries, the pitiful cries, who does not hesitate to hurt them in order to satisfy his own interests, is a full believer. Can't. The Prophet (sm) said, ‘Whoever believes in Allah and the Hereafter, let him not harm his neighbor. It is a sin to treat a neighbor badly. The Prophet (sm) said, ‘By Allah! He is not a believer, by God! He is not a believer, by God! He is not a believer. It was asked, O Messenger of Allah (sm)! Who is that person? "Neighbors are not safe from harm," he said. The person who hurts the neighbor will not go to Paradise. The Prophet (sm) said, ‘The person will not go to Paradise from whose evil his neighbor is not safe’.
Do not quarrel with neighbors:
One should not engage in arguments and quarrels with one's neighbor over any issue. Because it deteriorates the relationship between the two. Moreover, for this we will have to face judgment before Allah on the Day of Resurrection. Rasulullah (sm) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the case of the two quarrelsome neighbors will be presented first."Not forcing a neighbor to leave their home by torturing them:
The Prophet (sm) forbade to hurt the neighbor and called the one who caused trouble unbelieving. Even then, torturing and torturing a neighbor and forcing him to leave home is a great sin. It is narrated in Emerm that Abu Amer Himachi narrated that Chaoban (R) used to say,When two people are separated for more than three days, one of them loses. And if both of them die in a state of separation, then both of them are doomed. And a neighbor who tortures or mistreats a neighbor so that he is forced to leave his home is doomed to destruction.
Giving to a neighbor:
Exchanging gifts creates love between each other. Nabi Kareem (sm) said, ‘Give gifts to each other. It will create love between you. 'The nearest neighbor should be given priority in giving gifts. Narrated Ayesha (R), she said, I said, O Messenger of Allah (sm)! I have two neighbors. To whom should I send them? The Prophet (sm) said, 'Whose door (house) is nearer to you'.
